#You have been asked your Business ID to do a collaboration and you have no idea what that is? Stay here.

As we well know, Facebook and Instagram are the same company, so everything you do on Instagram is connected to Facebook. In Whitelisting collaborations you will need to get your ID from your Facebook Business Manager so you are able to promote your content.

What is the Business Manager and Business ID?

Facebook's Business Manager is designed to manage multiple assets (Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, ad accounts, pixels, apps, etc.) simultaneously from one place. In addition, it aggregates statistics and other much-needed information to work on your campaigns more effectively. In a nutshell, it is an internal section of Facebook where you can give permissions to brands to advertise with the content you upload, or advertise yourself.

The Business ID is simply the identifier of your Business Manager, like your "ID", it's the number you must share with the brand so they can invite you as a partner.

How to create a Business Manager.

IMPORTANT: You must have a Facebook account created for some time to be able to access your Business Manager.

The first thing you need to do is to go to https://business.facebook.com/overview.
Click on the "Create Account" button.
Enter your business name, your name and professional email address: In this section the name of your business would be the name of your instagram account from which you are going to advertise.
Click "Submit".

Where to find my Business ID.

Click on Settings > Business Settings.

Click on Business Information.

At the top of the section with your name you will find your Business ID number.

Once you have sent this number to the corresponding person, you will be invited as a partner to promote your content. This invitation will be sent to your email address. If you do not have access to your email address, the contact person will send you the link where you can accept the request.

IMPORTANT: When you accept the invitation, make sure you give permissions on your Instagram account, as this is where the advertising will take place. You will see that you will be asked for several accesses, these accesses allows the brand to create the ads promoting the publication and see the results to analyse them. If you modify these permissions, you will not be able to create the ads.

Don't be afraid to accept these permissions, they will not be able to access any private messages or passwords on your Instagram, these accesses are only for commercial purposes to promote your content.

Any questions or problems you may have in the process, please contact the contact person who invited you to the collaboration and they will help you to solve it as soon as possible.
